We were approached by a charity working on a project called ‘The Watercress Way’.
The charity were looking for a contractor to complete a restoration project across an old railway bridge in Sutton Scotney.
The project involved creating a picket type fence to fit the curve of the arch with a locakable gate to allow access to the rear.
The new fencing improved the safety and keeping of the site for local residents and users of the Watercress Way.
It also involved groundworks to make the ground level at the entrance to the archway and improve access for future activities, including walking tours and ecological improvement work.
